Your Safety is Our Top Priority
We understand that these times are challenging, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate as responsibly as we can.
We are eager to welcome our guests, staff, associates, and third-party suppliers with safety and well-being of all at the forefront of all our planning effort.
As we navigate through this unprecedented time as responsibly as we can, we have implemented a number of new safety measures based on guidance from health and government authorities.
In addition to government regulations, health and safety protocols, and food safety and preparation standards already in place, the following measures are currently in effect:
All guests are required to undergo temperature screenings upon arrival at Café Societi.
Guest Screening: All guests will undergo contactless temperature screening upon arrival. Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 38°C or above will be directed to the nearest testing centre. Those with temperatures of 38°C or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.
Employee Screening: All employees and suppliers undergo government regulated screening upon arrival, and all employees when ending their shift.
Following guidance from government and the medical community regarding enhanced screening procedures and prevention measures, we are also implementing the following to ensure a responsible and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Face Coverings: All guest are required to wear face masks, defined as a cloth mask, or a homemade item that covers the nose and mouth or another appropriate item to cover the nose and mouth, when visiting Café Societi.
Guests are required to wear face coverings at all times, except while eating or drinking. The use of face coverings should not be seen as a substitute for physical distancing. Guests must provide their own disposable or reusable face covering.
Physical Barriers: Physical barriers have been added in select places where it is difficult to maintain strict physical distancing guidelines. These may be visible in areas around entrances, for example, to help ensure proper distances between people.
Cashless Transactions: At this time, it is recommended all guests use cashless payment options whenever possible, including debit cards, credit cards, SnapScan, Café Societi Card , etc.
Digital Menus: We’re also recommending all guests use their smart phones to access our menu online.
Contactless Curbside Collection: For all online and app orders a convenient contactless curbside collection is available.
Physical Distancing and Capacity Measures
Managing the number of guests visiting Café Societi has been a major consideration as we implement physical distancing guidelines based on recommendations from health authorities and government. One of the ways to do that is to limit the number of guests and employees on location. Additional measures include:
Capacity: A limit is in place for the maximum of guests, suppliers, and staff allowed throughout the café as per government regulations.
Signage: Signage and markings have been installed that will help promote proper physical distancing and hygiene protocols.
Training: We are also regularly training employees to engage with guests and promote physical distancing guidelines in the café and queues.
Cleanliness and Sanitisation
We’ve increased regular training, cleaning and disinfection in high-traffic areas such as the café, handrails, chairs, tables, handles, restrooms and more. Additionally, we have hand sanitiser and hand-washing locations, and guests are highly encouraged to use these while visiting.
We’re further emphasising our strong culture of health and safety among employees, and will continue to provide new training and reinforcement as we navigate through the reopening phases.
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures – for you, our other guests, and employees. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Café Societi.
